I managed to ask for a demo from Best Denki at 1U this evening.
basically you need the 3D glasses (which sold separately from the TV), then enable the 3D features from the TV.
It's really cool! and the 3D glasses is so comfortable, it's like wearing a Oakley Shade!
however, the refresh rate is not up to par to normal flatscreen (comparing to 100Hz). Moving pictures like running will result trails of shadows, despite Samsung has "Clear Motion Rate"
I am commenting on the 1 of the 3D demo content - sprinters running 100M race... can see flapping pictures, despite 3D realistic picture.
If view w/o the 3D glasses, then you'll see tripple image~lah.
for now, I don't think it's good time to invest in a 3D TV, as there isn't much 3D content available.
But, you can always watch movies in 2D... it's still crispy sharp+vibrant+realistic, not to mention slimmest in the market.
3D experience is definitely getting more REAL now!!!
note: I'm still a Sony TV Fan, I'll wait for Sony!
