Artist Dave Chueng, Writer Jamal Joseph Jr.
Chugworth Academy Timeline-
2000: Chugworth debuted as a section on Dave's hentai (note: Porn) site, at that time his primary source of income. It had an impossibly large cast of mostly bland characters thrown into a shoddy pseudo-comedy plot involving Ghostbusting. The Cast was Sally, Kiyoshi, Ellice, Chloe, Stephanie, Guy, Alice, Mika, Ed and Abigail. Few had surnames at this time, and most were as boring as your Religious Ed teacher.
2001: One year later, Dave decided to take a foray into the madcap world of webcomics. Although overall impassionate toward his year 2000 Chugworth Porn adventure, he decided to strip it down and use it as a basis. Despite being overwhelmingly rubbish, a few characters from Chugworth V1 had proven themselves to be worth saving from the recycle bin. They were taken and placed in an everyday life gag comic, which sadly was often chronicaly unfunny. It lasted but 8 strips before Dave gave up on it. Cast this time:- Sally Richards, Kiyoshi Masamune, Ellice Matthews, Stephanie Baxter and Chloe Winsdale. Although better than before, there was still something not quite right about the cast dynamic...
2003: After a two year break, Chugworth was reborn in its current form. After a few months of single gag strips, more focus was given to longer (although still futile) storyline arcs and the cast dynamic was rescued by scrapping boring lesbian Stephanie Baxter from 2001's incarnation. Dave also recruited his "urbanized" aquaintance Jamal Jospeh Jr. for additional writing assistance. Cast:- Sally Richards, Kiyoshi Masamune, Ellice Matthews and Chloe Winsdale.
